Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing you to complain about my holiday in Florida, which was arranged by your company Getaway Holiday Tours. I have just returned from my vacation and I regret to have to inform you that the holiday did not met my expectations.
First of all your advertisement stated that I could take my dream holiday in Florida at a genuine bargain price. As it turned out, there were lots of extra charges. Secondly the hotel was not luxury, in fact it was appalling – it overlooked a flyover. To make matters worse the hotel was not close to the beach, in fact it was at least two miles away.
My stay at the hotel was not facilitated by the air conditioner, which did not function properly. It was so hot, noisy and smelly. Furthermore the fridge was always empty. Your advertisement claimed that the hotel has a helpful stuff, whereas in fact they were scruffy and impolite. I complained to the hotel manager on numerous occasions, but these problems were never remedied and the manager was rude and unhelpful.
In addition there were not three swimming pools, but only one and it was dirty. The moderately priced restaurants actually were very expensive. As stated in your advertisement there was local airport, but in fact it was 200 km away. On top of that there were only expensive car available.
I very much regret choosing Your company to organize my holiday. I feel that I am entitled to compensation for all the inconveniences, that you have caused me. I am sure that you will make everything possible to satisfy my request and compensate my disappointment. I would be grateful if you would reply by return of post.
